New York, NY, Jun 11, 2003 -- Dr. Norman Lamm was installed as chancellor of Yeshiva University after nearly 27 years as the University’s third president. The installation took place on Tuesday, June 10 during a joint meeting of Yeshiva University’s Boards at the Harvard Club in Manhattan. Dr. Lamm presided over an extraordinary period of growth and achievement in academic excellence, enhanced through scholarships, honors programs, and faculty recruitment. Richard M. Joel, YU’s fourth president, will be formally invested on September 21.
